14 months old already?

Logan had just eaten a cookie (if you look closely you can see a Hitler type mustache) and I think he wanted more.
Logan decided he could feed himself yogurt at Grandma and Papas.

Finally, after several attempts Logan likes speghetti.

So cute

Irish fan all the way

I can't believe Logan is already 14 months old. He is walking/running around all the time. His new favorite word is "doggie" and he pretends to talk all the time (gibberish). I pretend to understand what he is saying.
Logan is a really good toddler most of the time. He plays well by himself and with others and is sleeping during the night and during naps very well. My only complaint is eating. This kid likes only a handful of real food (aka dinner items). He loves almost anything breakfast; french toast, bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, cereal, yogurt... So, tonight my dad and I decide to take him to the one place we could think of that he would really enjoy "IHOP." I imagined him wolfing down several pancakes and smiling the whole time. Instead, he was throwing everything I gave him directly on the floor without even tasting it, screaming the whole time, "no, no, no." Finally, after throwing a bit of every kind of food we had on the floor, I asked the waitress for some grape jelly. At home he really likes anything with jelly on it. What do you know, he starting eating the pancakes. A few bites into it he decided he liked the jelly a lot more than the pancake itself and would put the pancake in his mouth enough to lick the jelly off and then throw the slobbery pancake on the floor. I think it will be some time before I take him out in public to eat again.

All most one?

I can't believe Logan is almost one year old already. This year has gone by so quickly. Currently Logan has one tooth and is walking a record seven steps at a time! He is also starting to show his frustration by throwing himself back on the floor and crying when he is not happy. Unfortunately for him his parents think this is funny.

Video Favorites

Here are a few video favorites. They are a little old. They are both from May when Logan was only 7 months old!

Logan really hates peas.

It sounds like Logan says "Lola" in this video. What do you think?

WE'RE BACK! Sorry for not keeping this updated as our laptop was on the fritz. We've had a great couple of months and Logan is growing like a weed. The highlights of our summer have been watching Logan crawl around the house and get into things, a wonderful trip down the Nashville, and of course a little work around the house. Logan is really at a fun age right now and we are trying to soak up every moment. The other night he even gave Mommy multiple kisses (though with his mouth open) and she came out of the room teary eyed because she knew her little boy was growing up.

It's March!

The snow is gone (for now) and Mommy and Logan have been able to get outside to take Lola for a walk. Spring sports will soon start and Logan will get to see Daddy more at work.

I give my best performances on the changing table :)

I miss all of you!

Michelle thinks this is cute - but that's because she's not a boy showing his butt on a fluffy pillow. Daddy said "no" to printing pictures.

The kid has a ton of hair. Who would have guessed that a 4 month old would need a haircut.

Madison and Logan on another date. Notice she is pushing him away. That's my boy :)

Aren't we cute!
