Time to Meet more Family :)

It was a great weekend spending time with family. Logan was excited to meet his Aunt Karolyn and Uncle Joel. The cousins spent a lot of time reassuring Logan that he will be loved by showering him with kisses.

Today was a big day. Logan had his first car ride, met his new best friend Lola, snuggled with his great grandparents, and was introduced (and broke in) his new home. Michelle continues to be sore and with the help of our parents we are comfortable and fed. Thanks for all the help mom and dad Leniski and Gerard.

On Monday, October 13th we welcomed to the world Logan Anthony Leniski at 4:20pm in the afternoon. His stats are promising: 8lbs 8oz, 21in long, and a head full of hair. He slept well his first night and has thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the people in his life thus far. For those of you who have not yet met him we are posting the following pictures to hold you over till you have an opportunity to share our bundle of joy.

An Apple a Day...

So here we are a week before his due date and still no baby. This morning I heard from my best friend Krishna and she is in labor. I on the other hand have a baby who is determined to stay. Let's just stay that I measured a certain number ten days ago in the hospital and then last week I was a centimeter less and today I am a centimeter less then that. They say that it doesn't go backward but from my point of view it is. I just picture him lounging around happy as can be where he is.

I am beginning to get desperate. My dog walks are getting longer and more strenuous. The neighbor across the street gave me some apples to eat and told me that if I eat them I would have only 15 minutes of labor! I had to give that a try! I ate an apple ten minutes ago and I feel the same (only less hungry).

No Baby Yet!

Well, I am starting to think this baby is going to hold out until his due date, October 17th. I have started walking the dog again in hopes of moving things along, but I have a feeling only Lola is benefiting from that. :)

Speaking of Lola, she recently discovered some of the baby's toys and even sprung a fellow dog (stuffed animal) from the toy box we had it hidden in. Now she is obsessed. Lola continues to go into the baby's room and whines because she wants the stuffed animals. I can see this is going to be a continuing struggle when the baby is born.
